Some time back , regional Ludhiana Stock Exchange was doing a flourishing business and in those days there were no Mobile phones/ Internet which could tell you , in an instant , how the Share Markets were behaving on a particular day.
But a road side food vendor near the Exchange building could tell you accurately even without entering the Transaction Hall ( there were no Computers then ).
On a day when Markets were down , he would say so.
" Today very few ordered premium dishes ( like Shahi Paneer etc ) . Majority of buyers , even Big Operators , ordered simple meals ( like Dal/ Chappati ). Must be MANDA today.
